How is CGPA calculated in Birla Institute of Technology Sindri?

CGPA is calculated using
(Credit points×SGPA)÷d;total credit points
Suppose you get 7.1 in ist sem (17.5 credit score) and 7.96 (24 credit score) in 2nd sem then
(7.1×17.5+7.96×24)÷d; (17.5+24)=7.59
So CGPA on calculating comes out to be 7.59
