In BML Munjal University, every course have a certain amount of credits to be passed, to distribute them, they are distributed among different subjects like 4 credit, 3 credit, 2 credit and 1 credit subjects, then the relative marks scored out of 100 decides the grade of the student for that particular subject and then it is multiplied to its corresponding credit . (A+ is 10 points, A is 9 points, and so on), then the sum of the multiplication of points and credits are divided by the maximum sum a student can gain which is A+ in every subject, which hence gives us the CGPA.
