    Here is a general overview of how CGPA is calculated:Each course or subject is assigned a specific number of credit hours and a corresponding letter grade based on the student's performance. The most common grading scale used is the 10-point scale, to calculate the CGPA, the grade points earned in each course are multiplied by the corresponding credit hours. These (credit hours multiplied by grade points) are divided by the total credit hours for all courses to arrive at the CGPA. CGPA provides an overall measure of a student's academic performance throughout his studies.
