Every semester there will be 5-6 subjects and their labs. Each subject will carry some credit. Now, if one gets for example 85/100 in a subject then he gets 9 points in that subject. Suppose that subject had 3 credits then Credit points for that subject will be 9x3=27 points. This way all subjects points are calculated and then added. Let as suppose on adding all subjects one gets 200 points. And on adding all subject credits it comes around 22. Then dividing 200 by 22 will give you the CGPA and in this case it will be 9.09 CGPA. For 91-100 it is 10 points
for 81-90 it is 9 points
for 71-80 it is 8 points
for 61-70 it is 7 points
    for 51-6
    ...more
