    The grade point average (GPA) is a number that represents a student's overall academic performance over a semester.

    The formula for calculating overall GPA is:

    1.Achieved Grade Points x Credit Hours = Outcome.

    2. Determine every course result.

    3. Add the results from each subject.

    4.Divide the sum of the results by the total number of semester credit hours.
