How is CGPA calculated in National Institute of Technology Meghalaya?

    We are having a letter grading system it goes like for the grading of the students based on the performance as per the evaluation scheme and Later Grades shall be awarded. The faculty awards the grades with the highest grade SA then AA, AB and it goes like that. The marks system is not relatively in NIT Sikkim and you will be awarded genuinely according to your individual performance.

     How SGPA is calculated (semester marking)?  

    It is the weighted average of grade points secured by the student in the credit courses taken by him and is given by the expression:

    SGPA = (1/ Ct ) CiGPi, I = 1

    where, n is the number of credit courses

    shall decide on the highest & the lowest grades to be awarded to a batch based on the overall
    performance of the batch in the course. How SGPA is calculated (semester marking)
