Starting from first Year second Semester a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) will be computed for every student at the end of every semester. The CGPA would give the Cumulative performance of the student from the first semester up to the end of thes emester to which it refers.

A student with a CGPA of 8.0 and above is considered eligible for the award of First Class with Distinction.

A student with a CGPA of 6.5 and above but less than 8.0 is considered eligible for the award of First Class.

A student with a CGPA of 5 and above but less than 6.5 is considered eligible for the award of Second Class.
