At NMIMS University, Bangalore, the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is calculated based on a relative grading system. Each trimester/semester is awarded a four-point Grade Point Average (GPA). The CGPA is derived by considering the GPAs of all completed trimesters/semesters up to the current date. Since the grading system is relative, there is no direct formula to convert CGPA into a percentage. Students can apply for a percentage letter if required, and the computation of grades for each subject/course can be referred to in the Student Result Book (SRB).
