    Calculation: To calculate the CGPA, follow these steps:
    Multiply the grade point assigned to each course by the number of credits for that course. Repeat this calculation for all courses taken during a particular period (e. g. , semester or academic year). Add up the total credit-weighted grade points earned for all courses. Divide the total credit-weighted grade points by the total number of credits taken. The resulting value is the CGPA. It represents the average performance across all courses taken during the given period.
