How is CGPA calculated in School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore?

<p>The semester GPA shall be computed by dividing the sum of the Grade Point Weight (GPW) of all the courses of the study be the maximum credit for the semester. The GPW are in turn calculated as the product of the grade points earned in the respective courses and the credit assigned to that course.</p><p>Generally, the CGPA is calculated in different ways in the college.The college faculty some times changes the grading system as their wish. They don't follow the same grading system every semester or year. Sometimes there may be relatively grading.Some times they may use absolute grading. They will fix the pass marks sometimes and start the grading from that mark in the subject. So there is no particular grading system followed in amrita college.&nbsp;</p><p>CGPA is average of semester GPA's.&nbsp;</p>
