    The CGPA (cumulative grade point average) at IIT SJSOM is calculated on a semester basis. This means that the grade points and credits earned in each semester are used to calculate your overall CGPA for the semester. The CGPA is then used to determine your overall academic standing at the institute.in first year they just convert internal marks and sem marks into Semester Grade Point Average.then on basis of every semester they compute overall cpga.

    The CGPA in Engineering is calculated by dividing the sum of total GPA in all semesters by the total number of credit hours. The formula is as follows: CGPA = Sum of total GPA in all Semeste
