    As far as the CGPA is concerned it is calculated by using the semester sgpa. The overall sgpas/gradepoints throughout all the semester till present are divided by total amount of credits. In a general sense it is - Sum of all the marks obtained/total number of credit hours. CGPA above 7.5 is considered good making you eligible for most of the companies.
