At the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, the selection shall be on the basis of merit, assessed through the combined results of the first and second semester examinations declared in the form of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) at the end of the first year. The minimum CGPA requirement for branch change is 8.0. Cumulative grade point average (cgpa) CGPA=credit index of all previous semester credit of all previous semester upto a semester.
