    In the recent placement season, Chandigarh University saw 3750 engineering students getting selected. More than 240 companies came to campus and this count grew by 30 perscent from the last year. There was also a 70 percent rise in core branch companies, which showed more interest in fresh students. The total offers increased by 60 percent which showed that many firms wanted to hire more students. Around 500 companies gave packages above 5 LPA and more han 100 companies offered above 10 LPA.
