    Media Studies at Chandigarh University (through the University Institute of Media Studies, UIMS) is pretty good if you're into journalism, film, digital content, advertising etc. The curriculum is well-designed: you'll take subjects like News & Contemporary Issues, Broadcast Media, Digital Content Creation, Editing Lab, and even labs for anchoring & interview skills. 

    They mix theory with practical work. There are labs for radio, TV, editing, designing, plus internship opportunities and real-time projects.
