    It is a good private university among other private Universitys for B.Tech in mechanical and has good placement from others.

    Dear Aspirant, Being alumnus of LPU, I would like to answer this question. LPU is the better choice to pursue your engineering. LPU does provide B.Tech in Mechanical. LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty, and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. LPU is providing its students the exposure by providing opportunities for guest lectures, workshops, industrial visits, internships, etc. As per my experience, LPU is the best engineering college in India.     Hi Kartik,
    I don't have idea about Mechanical Engineering at Chandigarh University,I did MBA from Lovely professional University and I would say,The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream. The labs and workspace at LPU School of Mechanical Engineering, was fully equipped with all the necessary machinery that was required for wholesome learning.

    Dear kartik, I don't have idea about CU, I would say, The engineering stream at LPU itself has received an overall good rating from students and alumni. The School of Mechanical Engineering offers well engineered seamless courses for students at many different levels such as undergraduate, Diploma/certificate, post-graduate and research based Ph.D. level courses, not only for Mechanical Engineering, but also for Automobile, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics as well.     It is good, if you can get admission in this college. Otherwise, you have some other choices like private universities. I can provide you some list if you are interested.

    The mechanical branch is quiet good with an overwhelming achievements that you won't be able to see in any other private northern university.

    Hi Kartik,
    Chandigarh university is good to pursue B.Tech in Mechanical engineering, well-built infrastructure, nice faculty and further they provide placements too.

Hello, whether it's Automobile or any other branch, duration for Diploma is three years after 10th board. However as per National Education Policy, once a student gets admission, after 12th board, once the students complete two years, they will be entitled to receive diploma. Then they can either leave the course or continue the same for one or two more years, they will be entitled for higher recognition.
