Placements at Chandigarh University in Mechatronics are 98%. All the students get placed who opt for placement drives. Department of Career planning and development conducts training for students which is rigorous such that no student is left without getting placed in any of the companies coming on campus for placement drives.

Also it has the highest Number of Placements in Top MNCs (Microsoft, Amazon, HPE, IBM, etc.). Year after year, top notch companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Walt Disney, IBM, Flipkart, SAP Labs are visiting CU Campus for recruitment of fresh talent. Chandigarh University (CU) is not only NAAC A+ Accredited but also the fastest-growing university with excellent records of placements as well. 4th-year mechatronics student here at CU, I can say that this university, especially the mechatronics department has grown leaps and bounds. Chandigarh University’s major focus is on the following: 1. The department has specialised teachers and staff and who believe in applied studies. 2. The syllabus is revised as per the latest industrial standards. This can tell you about how much the department aims to be stand out as being the best one all over India. 3. The labs and machines are as per the industry standards. 4. Teachers are extremely helpful and we, as a department has inculcated a habit of cooperation and innovation. 5. From the very beginning, we are asked to be innovators rather than just project makers and that is reflected by the many patents that our department proudly owns. Students are also motivated to write papers (review or research). 6. The seniors have been and still are present for the guidance of their juniors.
