    Being a alumni of LPU,Iwould say Chemical Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with the processing of raw materials to desired products on large scale with the objective of the economical and successful design of unit processes and unit operations for commercial purposes.

    Hi, Chemical Engineering is a good option to go for at LPU. Chemical engineers translate processes
    developed in the lab into practical applications for the commercial production of products and then work to maintain and improve those processes. They rely on the main foundations of engineering: math, Physics and Chemistry (though Biology is playing an increasing role). The main role of chemical engineers is to design and troubleshoot processes for the production of chemicals, fuels, foods, pharmaceuticals, and biological, just to name a few.     LPU is good for chemical Engineering. But it depends on the preferences of the students opting for a particular course. I liked LPU but it doesn't mean that all students of my age have to like it. There are a few points based on which you can take decisions and choices. LPU started the education journey in 2001 (16 years) inwards. And LPU aims at making professional education stretching from local to global level and from classroom-based to web-based education.
