Computer and Communication Engineering may at first feel similar to CSE branch of Engineering but it has some core difference. Where in one course focuses on the software and programming aspect the other one focuses on the Communication and Networking. The Job area is also different for both. But it doesn't have any less scope than CSE. From what I have found on internet, it seems to be a quite popular course. At present, Manipal University offers this course to students with good placement.
