    Dharwad Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) is a new IIT that opened in 2016. The department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at IIT Dharwad is one of the most famous in the university. Since its inception, the CSE section at IIT Dharwad has grown consistently and acquired a lot of recognition among students and researchers.

    It is very good in terms of placement record and also in terms of highly qualified teachers. IIT Dharwad will be a good choice to go for.

    The various programmes offered by the department of CSE at IIT ISM Dhanbad are B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering), 5-Year Dual Degree (B.Tech & M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering), 2-Year M.Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering), 2-Year M.Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering with specialisation in Information Security) and Ph.D. (Computer Science and Engineering). Total fees is INR 8.79 Lacs approximately. The placement record is very good. More than 65 percent of the students get placed. The highest salary package offered was approximately 48 LPA.
