  • Cultural Anthropology and Physical Anthropology are two major subfileds of Anthropology. Both these fields involve the comprehensive study of human beings. They differ from each other because of their areas of focus. Cultural Anthropology is concerned with the social and cultural aspects of human beings whereas Physical Anthropology is concerned with the biological aspects of humans. Cultural Anthropology is similar to topics covered in Sociology whereas Physical Anthropology is related to biology. Both these try to comprehend the qualities and characteristics of human beings in order to get a holistic understanding.
