How is Doon University and Lovely Professional University for B.Sc. Agriculture?

<p>As per the website of Doon university, It is not curating Agriculture programs, as it is not ICAR accredited. As far as LPU is concerned, it provides exposure to the industry, efficient and knowledgeable faculty, flexible curriculum and teaching pedagogues, Placements, Scholarships, infrastructure, and diverse culture make LPU incomparable. It is one of the best programs in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with a few opting for higher studies and entrepreneurship. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, SYNGENTA INDIA LTD, WIPRO LIMITED Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. LPU has highly qualified faculty from Top agriculture institutes and universities from India and Abroad etc. While PAU has a heritage and log history as its strength, LPU has a fresh energy, massive resources be it in hardware or software of human which make it a strong competitor. Moreover being a private university, LPU has to always keep up its ante on placements, which it does very well. So, there is actually no comparison.</p>

Hello! With best of my knowledge, I can say Doon University doesn't offer Agriculture course where as LPU is the first private university that is ICAR accredited for agriculture courses. Agriculture is one of those courses which are widely explored in the present era of globalization because of the growing significance of agriculture and the additional benefits of new and innovative technology to it. Moreover, now agriculture is not confined only to production rather it has become the most lucrative industry in India and abroad which has created plenty of career opportunities in the commercial side that covers the whole spectrum of activities in the process of reaching from farmer to the end-user of agro products. Since my childhood, I had a keen interest towards farms and agriculture and luckily, I found one of my friend who was enrolled in B.Sc (Hons. ) Agriculture at LPU. Hi dear, Being an Education Consultant, I can tell in a better way that Doon University is not bad but LPU is too good when in comparison of duo. #LPU is a first private university in India to have an Accreditation of ICAR. #One of the prestigious School of business studies. #12 Center of Excellence to provide Industry based teachings at LPU Campus. #Unbeatable Placement records. LPU has been awarded by many outer agencies for Placements. #The International exposure and Credit Transfer programme. LPU has many valuable Global Tie-ups with foreign universities. #Unity in Diversity, LPU has more than 30000 students from about 70 countries, what an experience it would be to study among National and International students. So, LPU is really good or you can say equivalent to government Agriculture Universities and even better all the private Universities in India. All the best.

Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). LPU provides the quality education by the well qualified teachers. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. The university provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. LPU Becomes the First Private University to be Granted ICAR Accreditation By the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. It lays a thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, a library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facilities. Students are prepared at the academic level to achieve higher placements.

LPU's agriculture courses are consistently in high demand. LPU School of Agriculture is one of the best agriculture institutes in Punjab and India. B.Sc. Agriculture in Doon Business School is one of the most opted courses every year. Based on their review, I can share, LPU School of Agriculture is among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Students are prepared at academics level to achieve higher placements, some steps are taken as follows: 1. Experiential Learning Activities The future of agriculture lies with a faith born of deeds. Students are engaged in evergreen agriculture, keeping in view the RAWE programme to build interpersonal skills. 2. Exposure To Commercial Farms Students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that creates an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. 3.
