How is Doon University and Lovely Professional University for B.Sc. Agriculture?

Hi, Both the universities are doing great efforts but LPU's agriculture courses are consistently in high demand. LPU School of Agriculture is one of the best agriculture institutes in Punjab and India. It places a strong emphasis on agricultural and related studies. The institution features well-equipped laboratories, a library, lecture rooms, and a fantastic farm where agricultural experiments can be conducted. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance Retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics, and many other companies use School of Agriculture graduates. 7 Students Received a 3.74 LPA Offer 7 students from the School of Agriculture have been hired as Retail-Agri executives at HDFC, India's the largest private bank, with a starting annual remuneration of 3.75 LPA. The international camp was held to allow students to showcase their projects on sustainable water resource management. University provides unique inputs in the form of placement classes to prepare students for placements. Students receive extensive on-the-job training as well as opportunities to work on projects that pay well. Hi Narain, Being an Education Consultant, I can tell in a better way that Doon University is not bad but LPU is too good when in comparison of duo. #LPU is a first private university in India to have an Accreditation of ICAR. #One of the prestigious School of business studies. #12 Center of Excellence to provide Industry based teachings at LPU Campus. #Unbeatable Placement records. LPU has been awarded by many outer agencies for Placements. #The International exposure and Credit Transfer programme. LPU has many valuable Global Tie-ups with foreign universities. #Unity in Diversity, LPU has more than 30000 students from about 70 countries, what an experience it would be to study among National and International students. #The only university in INDIA to be visited by the #PRESIDENT OF INDIA #PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA #VICE PRESIDENT OF INDIA #FINANCE MINISTER OF INDIA #MAURITIUS PRESIDENT #THE DALAI LAMA, etc. And so on, these aspects really combine to create a strong profile of the students to get placed. Hope this could be enough to get you know that DOON University will definitely take long time to chase LPU. <p>As per the website of Doon university, It is not curating Agriculture programs, as it is not ICAR accredited. As far as LPU is concerned, it provides exposure to the industry, efficient and knowledgeable faculty, flexible curriculum and teaching pedagogues, Placements, Scholarships, infrastructure, and diverse culture make LPU incomparable. It is one of the best programs in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with a few opting for higher studies and entrepreneurship. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, SYNGENTA INDIA LTD, WIPRO LIMITED Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. LPU has highly qualified faculty from Top agriculture institutes and universities from India and Abroad etc. While PAU has a heritage and log history as its strength, LPU has a fresh energy, massive resources be it in hardware or software of human which make it a strong competitor. Moreover being a private university, LPU has to always keep up its ante on placements, which it does very well. So, there is actually no comparison.&nbsp;</p>
