How is fashion design programme in LPU? Does it have infrastructure for running this programme?

Fashion designing is a great career for the people with creative streak. LPU offers two programme in Fashion Design 1) B.Sc. (Design - Fashion) 3 years. (6 Semesters) 2) B. Design (Fashion) 4 years. (8 Semesters) The eligibility is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent for both the programs. If you are aiming at becoming a fashion designer then you need to take the relevant course and have to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Let me share the salient features of this course at LPU. The eligibility criteria is 50% with English The salient features of this course (B. Design (Fashion) B. Sc. (Fashion) includes:-Availability of international forecast WGSN for trend forecasting. Latest machinery &amp; soft wares to keep students at the cutting edge of technology. The various programs of the dept. are supported by materials like books of various international publishers, state of the art labs and design studios. The emphasis is on self-motivated learning by using creativity, exploring techniques &amp; innovating new applications in fashion. In B. Design (Fashion) the students are provided with an opportunity to showcase their design collection through an Annual Graduating Fashion show.
