How is FOSTIIMA for MBA finance? Please help.

Firstly, if I talk about the faculty, mostly are from IIMs and have more than 30 years of experience in corporate. Also, the finance faculty members are from IIMs and teach by sharing their personal experience and giving real-life examples. The study prospects is almost same as is of IIM Ahmedabad. So it is up to you how much efforts you will put to get maximum benefits of good faculty and study material. Now let me clear that in tier 2 type colleges like Fostiima mostly companies are come for marketing profile. The good thing in Fostiima is that it provides you dual specialisation which helps you during final placements. Also, companies like EY and S & P global provide job of core finance and important thing is that these companies also visited Fostiima for final placements. But on the other hand premier banks like HDFC, Yes bank, RBL, ICICI, Kotak, Axis also come Fostiima for final placements but they provide marketing profile jobs.

FOSTIIMA is a decent college for marketing specially. But those people who are interested in finance, special care is provided to them also. By solving the case study and doubt clearing sessions, faculty members try to build up the basic knowledge of the students on a particular subject. Besides it, student interface committee is there to solve if any student faces academic issues. For finance specially, FOSTIIMA provides faculty members and experts from different branches of Financial Management so that the students can have the clear view on this subjects. Everyday (Except- Saturday & Sunday) FOSTIIMA gives students ET news paper at free of cost also, so that the students interested in finance can make themselves a strong pillar in Finance. So, they are doing a lot of things for the students having interest on Finance also. So, I think, if you are interested in Finance, you can simply go for FOSTIIMA.

FOSTIMA is a decent college, all it's courses have more or less same result placement wise.
