How is GD Goenka University for BBA LLB? How is its atmosphere for the students? I have heard that it is not so good.

Hi there, If you have better options than this, then, of course, you must opt them. This should not be a preferred college at the outset for the said course. As the stats are still not available for the college if you look for placements in tier 1 or tier 2 law firms.

I am a student of BBA LL.B. In G. D. Goenka University. The academics are pretty good. They provide great industrial exposure.

Hi, I am just an intermediary, I was going through peoples review on this college and I found this one as the apt and detailed one. "I am writing this as an ex-student of GD Goenka.” I was there from 2015-2016 as a law student. Thankfully I got out at the right time and joined another college. But I just want to help all the students who don't get admission into a good college and fall for such colleges. Here's the good, the bad and the worst about this college. The good: Admission process: The admission process is really smooth. And truth me when I say smooth then it literally means as smooth as putting butter on bread. Just fill and submit the form, come and take their test and within 15 minutes of taking that test, you'll get an admission letter irrespective of how many questions you attempt. Also, they even consider admissions a week before first semester exams start. Campus: Hands down, one of the best campus in Delhi NCR. But the only thing that would get on your nerve is there's no shop and proper transportation within 20 km from the college. Rules: it's a chilled place and you won't be bothered by the authority much. You can wear anything, bring anything, phones are allowed in class and even smoking is allowed on campus unless you're in the academic building. THE BAD Crowd: Trust me, even if you have an iota of entrepreneurship skills and any other skill, don't come here. People here just smoke weed and do drugs and it's really hard to settle in with students who came to this college just because 90% of students are those who couldn't get into another college and 5% of the students are those who either came from a different city or got late in getting admission at some other place. Faculty: The faculty will be well qualified but without any prior experience and you might find faculty of one department teaching another department because of the less availability of the lecturers. All and all 20% of the faculty is really good and rest of them are just teaching for the sake of some unknown reason. The worst- Smoking and doping: more than 80% of students here are into doping and most of the hostel students are heavily into drugs. Career: Well it's not just hard to have a bright career after spending so much on tuition fee, it's absolutely impossible. No one gets a job after completing any given course Note: this college is best suitable for all students who just want to get a degree as the college is very lenient towards exams and promo.
