Hi.

Rejection during the GIBS admission process can stem from various factors, as the institution uses a holistic evaluation process that goes beyond just academic scores. The most common reasons for rejection include:

Academic and Application Issues
  • Failure to Meet Minimum Academic Criteria: Applicants who fall below the minimum required 50% grades in their undergraduate degree or who have declining grades may be rejected.
  • Low Entrance Exam Scores: While GIBS considers a balanced profile, scores in national-level entrance exams (like CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc.) that are significantly below the typical cutoffs can be a majo

Hi.

The GIBS MBA/PGDM admission process involves several stages. Initially, candidates must have a valid score from a national or state-level management entrance exam like CAT,  MAT,  XAT, or CMAT. Following the exam, applicants submit an online application form with personal and academic details, including the entrance exam score. The applications are reviewed, and candidates are shortlisted based on their academic record, exam scores, and overall profile. Shortlisted individuals are typically required to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) within a specific timeframe. After SOP evaluation, candi

At GIBS, honestly most of the companies that come for placements are MNCs — easily around 70–80%. That's something I personally like because you get exposure to big brands and proper corporate culture.

Some of the common names we keep hearing on campus are like IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, Byju's, Wipro, Amazon, HDFC Bank, Wells Fargo, and many more.

So yeah, the placement scene at GIBS is pretty solid, and the mix of MNCs gives students a lot of options to explore.
