As per my knowledge, Completing an MBA in finance improves your skills across a range of areas of finance, from risk management to financial control. Hi, MBA is a Master's in business administration it majorly focuses on business Administration and Specializing in Finance will give you a sound understanding of finance, but that's not core finance. But if you are a finance lover and want to dig deeper to learn core finance then a CFA will be the best alternative. Since these professional courses are globally recognized & include subjects that are not covered in detail of the MBA (finance) curriculum. A CFA is a detailed study in finance and after doing this a candidate is not restricted to work in India only. Yes, it is true that MBA from IIM gives you a huge jump in the salary package, but with 5-10 years of experience, a CFA can earn even more.
