How is IEM, Kolkata for B.Tech?

Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM), Kolkata, West Bengal is a private college established in 1989. College is affiliated to AICTE, UGC, MAKAUT and has accredited A grade by NAAC. College offers UG, PG and Ph.D. degrees, MBA and engineering is considered to be the most popular courses of this college. Admission to this college is done on the basis of merit list in JEE Main and WBJEE exams. It also offers placement assistance with recruiters such as Amazon, TCS, GreyB and so on with an average package of INR 5 LPA.

It is the best among private colleges in Kolkata but still it is far behind many private colleges in India. It has some decent placement records so if you have got this option and no better options are available then IEM Kolkata would be a good choice.
