MBA at IEM Kolkata is okay type. You can expect average package of 3-5lpa in IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini etc. These companies visit the campus for recruitment. If you don't have any other options available and you are financially good, then only take admission in this college. Because, even after completing your MBA, you may end up without getting any job. It is a pretty decent college. The campus life is not much prominent. However, the college is known for its placements. The E - cell of the college is quite active and chiefly helps the students with their placements. A lot of MNCs do visit the campus during placements. The average MBA placements are 4-5 Lacs.
