Shrey35959, ECE has less scope in India. Many of the IITs also have withdrawn ECE. But it is definitely a good branch if you wish to pursue it further for higher studies and all. In IIIT Allahabad , ECE has a nice course structure, but placements are mainly into IT companies. No doubt a lot of ECE companies also come but mainly it's IT based.
And as far as the order of preference is concerned , according to me it goes as. NITKKR(IT)->IIITA(ECE)->NITJALAN(CSE)->PEC(ECE), and rest you can decide by considering other factors also like distance from your house,location,food etc. -
As you have written it 's perfect order. And ece placement is not too good it iiit a but if u compare with nit allahabad or jaipur it's good
