How is IIT Hyderabad?

Founded by the Central Government of India, Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is a part of the Indian Institute of Technology group. Presently, this institute offers 9 B.Tech programmes, 16 M.Tech programmes, 3 M.Sc. Programmes, 5 M.Phil programmes and M.Des programme in all the disciplines of engineering, Science, liberal arts and design. IIT Hyderabad also offers doctoral degrees in various fields. In the past years, this institute has established strong ties with many global organisations. IIT Hyderabad has a strong bond with many Japanese universities. IIT Hyderabad is the first institute to start an executive M.Tech Programme in Data Science for working executives and professionals. Furthermore, IITH has also signed MoU with the University of Pittsburgh and Kaohsiung Medical University.

IIT-Hyderabad campus is spread over 576 acres of land. The institute is considered as a one of the second generations institute started by the Government of India. The campus is located in Kandi, Sangareddy, Telangana State. The institute has been ranked 8th by NIRF in the engineering division.
