<p>Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) are institutions of national repute. The faculty as well as alumni of IITs have occupied key positions in different industries. Quality teaching and internationally acclaimed research with excellent infrastructure and top minds have led the IITs to create a world-class educational platform. IIT Patna is one of the new IITs established in August 2008. The institute imparts education in 10 different departments with all the modern facilities that are fully packed with state-of-the-art facilities to train and educate students.<br>IIT Patna has done a remarkable job in terms of research. After a year of its inception, the Research and Development unit was established in 2009 to facilitate the smooth functioning of projects.
