    Hi Pranav,
    The instru branch at VIT is one of the good branches of college. The placement scenario is also good. People get an internship for whole semester in their final year easily. It's good if you are getting it.

    1. No student will face placement problem here as long as you maintain CGPA at least around 7.5.
    2. Recruitment Company List -i) Off-campus recruitment (MU Sigma, Persistent, Indian Navy, Indian Army, etc.) ii) IT companies e.g. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. iii) Instrumentation companies - Uhde India, Jacobs, Emerson Process(Shivajinagar, Pune), Honeywell, Sudarshan Chemicals, Forbes Marshall, Tetrapak - these companies have recruited/ recruitment process is going on today(Jan 13 2015). Yet to come - Alfa Laval, Johnson Control, Toyo, Wabag, Uhde and Emerson process(again in 2nd sem) Emerson(for embedded systems). Plus, maybe a few new rec
