It has well-qualified and experienced faculty members. The department offers B.E, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering discipline. The department has adequate infrastructure to support academic activities. The department is actively involved in research activities. The department has signedMoUswith Infosys, Microsoft, Oracle, VMware and EMC2. The department organizes workshops, talks and faculty development programs regularly. The department has good placement track record.

GIT is one of the top 5 colleges of Rajasthan in RTU. CSE of GIT is very good as lots of companies came here for placements.

GIT was one of the best college in Rajasthan 2 years ago, but as per present condition, the new VC of college and the campus officer are just making a lot money. Anybody who take admission regrets now. If you want to know about placement companies like TCS, WIPRO, ZENPACT, FLIPKART, AMAZON and other big companies has blacklisted it.
