How is it to study in LPU?

Hi there, I am alumni of LPU. I have done BCA at LPU is a place where a person can learn many things. The main thing I have learned is time management and discipline. They will teach each and every thing to the students. Studying here will feel a bit strict to the student but this is needed and the class hours also are bit extended one as compare to other regional and nearby colleges. I will take my example in this will tell you about how semester works at LPU. They start teaching from day first so no more extra time will be given you should have to study accordingly after 15 days they take first test which is first Assignment in some courses and CA in some so be prepared after some time midterm will start and after that 2 more CA and then straight forward End term exams. This is how semester goes and you need be prepared all the subjects accordingly you will feel out of time but the teachers are so nice here they teach each and every thing in class in very nice way so that you can grab it. You can ask n number of times if you have any doubt about any topic covered in class. They will never say no. But at the time of Test or exam never think about cheating LPU have so strict regulation regarding this. All they can expels you from class for some days and block you attendance also. But if you study hard then you can also score good marks. On an all the study and the quality and innovation in study is in required proportions at LPU. I hope this will help.

I did MBA from LPU, My experience at LPU has been phenomenal. Lovely Professional University is among a very few private institutions in India which is uncompromising on the academics, research, overall development, culture, professional ethics, infrastructure and value for money education for students. As LPU provides a good atmosphere for study. The curriculum is best made to enable students to teach modern technologies. First and foremost aspect of LPU is that through out your degree a single class will not missed by any teacher. However if any faculty is absent an adjustment or makeup will be arranged for the same. Extra subjects : The university ensures that you not only excel in your studies but also groom yourselves for placement. Also you could select a subject according to your interests for some semesters. Placement Training :Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for government Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interviewing skills right from the 2nd year, continuously for 1-1.5 years till they get job. The best part of lpu is UMS (university management system), everything happening in lpu from your academic details to current events is stored online in database. Every student and faculty is given a unique id to access the ums. Moreover parents are also provided with ums id and password to periodically look after the academic details of their children. Every bit of information whether the child is attending the class regularly or not can be seen. So altogether LPU has transparency. Well planned instruction plans : You have the access to whole syllabus and the topics which will covered by teachers with the reference resource links from your UMS. It gives you an advantage to learn in advance so you could easily understand the lectures. LPU alumni can be found in most top global brands like Apple, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Bank of America etc. With packages of over 1 Crore. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews.

Hi, Well, it is an awesome feeling being an LPU student. LPU is one of the top universities in India to be known till date. It started from a small sweets shop called Lovely sweets, then started the academics from engineering education and thus got the status of University from college within 6 years. Besides good education, LPU has got much more to offer such as extracurricular activities to be enjoyed/participated on daily basis, Workshops to be attended almost every week, sports to be played much often, Conferences that are to be organized by the university. The diversity to witness, the resources to be utilized, the exposure to all the things, and such good infrastructure. LPU offers almost all predominantly courses and has got international tie-ups with more than 200 universities across the globe. LPU breaks the highest placement records every year. Students from all across the world live in the hostel, which comes the closest to being 'a home away from home'. The mixture of races and religions helps to build a decent environment. Activities: Apart from education, the university also focuses on our extracurricular activities to bring out the best of our personality. Various activities and fests are organized by the university. LPU is one of the best experience I am having till now. Academics: LPU from an educational point of view is a good place to start your career with. It is one of the decent university having a lovely campus. The quality of education is supreme which perfectly blends in with the technology. The faculty is highly supporting if one is willing to learn. Frequent guest lectures are often taken up by experts who are highly knowledgeable in their respective fields. Even guest lecturers from foreign universities also visit. I would suggest not to miss out on those. Regular tests are conducted by professors to make sure we understand things better. The syllabus is updated every 6 months. Overall, I would say that, to study from LPU is a dream for many. Not all get this opportunity to be blessed in this way.
