How is its placement & what is the avg. & max. salary offered? Do you provide internships as well & which firms visit for placement?

Placement is decent. The average salary is about Rs 4.5 lakhs per annum and the maximum is about Rs 9 lakhs. NSB provides paid internships for all students. There are a plenty of companies offering internships. NSB has good placements. NSB strength comes from three aspects: 1. NSB admits only 150 students.They will be in 3 specializations so 50 in each group. Placing 50 students in each stream is not at all difficult for NSB given its connections. 2. NSB starts early. Placement preparations begin from the first semester itself. We already have placement related training. The training that spans three semesters will give you complete and comprehensive insight into the process. So, students would become very comfortable with the whole process of interviews and negotiations. 3. NSB involves students in the placement related decisions. Students will have a big say in what companies to invite for the campus and the sequencing of visits. I guess NSB website gives you a good idea about the companies that recruit students from the campus. As I responded previously placements are good, especially this year. The maximum package offered has been Rs 8 lakhs till now; but note the placements are still going on. Historically, maximum salary of NSB has been around Rs 9 lakhs per annum and the average is around Rs 4.5 lakhs per annum. The jobs are plenty for marketing students. Most of them will have multiple options.
