The placements usually depends on your capabilities. Generally the mass recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc., take a lot of students from the campus but if you're good with your coding skills and data structures then you can easily get into a good company with a package of around Rs 7-10 lakhs.

There are a lot of opportunities to get placed in well established companies by studying CSE, however, there is a surplus of CSE students in today's market, therefore, one has to stand out in the crowd to be placed well in today's date.
