Originally established in Aligarh, Jamia Millia Islamia is a central public university founded in the year 1920. This university has nine faculty members, including the Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Education and Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Additionally, Jamia Millia Islamia has several separate academic departments, including the Department of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension, Department of Arabic and Department of Architecture.
