How is Karnataka PGCET rank list prepared?

<p>KEA prepares the Karnataka PGCET rank based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance test. KEA provides one mark for each correct response marked by the candidate. The candidates with more marks get higher rank. In case of tie breaking, tie breaking criteria is applied. In the case where two or more candidates secure the same merit, then the Karnataka PGCET inter se merit is determined with reference to the total aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying exam. In the case where marks obtained are equal, the inter-se-merit is determined based on the age of the candidates. Older candidates are preferred over younger ones.</p>
