LNM Institute of Information Technology founded as a public-private partnership joint venture between the Government of Rajasthan and Lakshmi and Usha Mittal Foundation. LNMIIT Jaipur was granted Deemed-to-be-University status by UGC in 2006 as a De-Novo institution and operates as an autonomous non-profit organisation. It is recognised by AICTE and UGC.
