Dear Isha, Lovely Professional University is the best for pursuing B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture. My cousin also did the same at LPU. LPU is the first private university that got approval by ICAR. (I). The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for period of five years with GPAC of 3.42 (ii) The following degree programs were approved for accreditation for a period of five years B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture with GPAP of 3.72 Let me share the eligibility criteria for admission in B.Sc. Agriculture programme Eligibility Criteria: You should have passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English Physics Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. Moreover, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Hello Isha Chawala, I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. B.Sc. Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days, LPU is the first university to get the ICAR accreditation for agriculture courses. This is the main reason why students are preferring LPU over other universities. I have done my Engineering from LPU, and during my graduation I had a room mate who was enrolled in this course. He even got campus placement and was also selected for some internship at Nestle during her course.
