B.Tech in mechanical engineering at LPU is somewhat better than any local private college. Though study pattern and curriculum are not very high-end and the quality of students may seem very annoying. College organizes various national events throughout the year such as go-Kart, efficycle and related work-shops which is quite helpful for getting good working experience. Exams are not very hard as opposite to placements. Most students go for IT or programming jobs or government sector. Though the trend is quite common for mechanical students throughout the nation with the rise of automation, you may have a hard time for getting in a company of mechanical stream through campus drives at LPU. Placements are quite good in number as around 500 students from mechanical getting placed every year and the average placement be 4 LPA. Hope it helps.
