How is Lovely Professional University (LPU) for a B.Tech and its placements?

Question

I am getting these kind of queries everyday! For a young 10+2 students this seems to be the most important question, some even go to extent of asking the highest, the lowest, mean, median and average salaries too! Mostly placements is considered as a standalone process. Well, let me write down all the factors which finally boil down to placements: Course curriculum, It needs to be dynamic and industry consulted then only the professionals will be developed which industry really needs. Internships, entrepreneurship, community development projects etc. : They need to be integral part of curriculum so that students get hands on knowledge about real time situations in various aspects of life and business. I have 16 years of experience behind me in some of the top universities of the country in private sector. I can surely tell you that LPU has excelled in all these factors with unflinching focus. All this has been possible because of heavy and smart investments made by it in intellectual capital. It has been passionate for achieving excellence in each and every process. And it shows in the placements when more than 800 top companies come to campus from all over the world and take thousands of students every year. They not only offer the great salary packages from 5 to 42 lacs per annum but also offer the best of job roles for freshers. No wonder about 100 of these companies offer more than 10 lacs as yearly packages ! Hope this helps DVD.

Hello, Lovely Professional University is always applauded in terms of placements. Recently LPU has been awarded with National Employability Award and Students of LPU are termed as Most Employable Students. There are two major points to be noted here, One is that Placement depends on the students equally as on the university, as student has to maintain a good academic record and should add few stars to his/her CV to land up on better placement. Secondly, University should not just focus on connecting student with the company, but should polish the student in such way that he/she is able to crack any interview easily. Being and LPU alumni, I have observed that LPU gives you ample opportunities to boost your CV and also focuses on over all development of student so that cracking any interview is a cake -walk. Many LPU students at LPU even hold multiple placement options, I am glad, I am one of those. Campus placement at Lovely Professional University has always been a sought after event for the final year students. Division of Career Services sets up recruitment drives and job fairs on a regular basis. Apart from this, it also extends abundant facilities such as resume writing sessions, career advisory services, and aptitude development workshops to proffer better placement to the students. Industry leading companies, every year, come to Lovely Professional University to participate in recruitment drives. Placements are administered by a team called Division of Career Services. Few of the major noticeable placements status are : 1. More than 700 companies visited for recruitment. 2. More than 60 offer above 10 LPA. 3. More than 60 come to LPU only, outside of IITs. 4. More than 100 out of fortune 500 club. 5. The highest package 42 LPA. 6. Average package : 5.4 LPA. 7. Placement record : 95% plus. 8. More than 900 placement drives in a year. I hope this helps. All the Best. !

Arshia Singh · Answer

Lovely Professional University (LPU) for B.Tech is generally considered a good option among private universities, especially for students who want a large campus environment with good infrastructure and exposure. Academically, the curriculum in most B.Tech branches is industry-oriented and updated. Labs, workshops, coding platforms (for CSE), and technical clubs are available. However, since the intake is large, learning outcomes depend a lot on how proactive the student is. Placements are stronger in branches like CSE and IT, where many companies (especially service-based and some product-based) visit campus. Core branches like Mechanical, Civil, and ECE have comparatively moderate placements and even higher packages go to students with strong skills, internships, and a good CGPA.

Sona · Answer

LPU is pretty good for B.Tech, especially if you actually use the opportunities given. The curriculum is industry-oriented, labs are decent, and there's a strong focus on internships, projects, and skill training. Placements are on a large scale-many mass recruiters come every year, along with some good tech and core companies. Packages really depend on your skills and effort, but overall, if you stay active in coding, internships, and training, placements at LPU are solid for B.Tech students.
