For a young 10+2 students this seems to be the most important question, some even go to extent of asking the highest, the lowest, mean, median and average salaries too! Mostly placements is considered as a standalone process. Well, let me write down all the factors which finally boil down to placements: Course curriculum, It needs to be dynamic and industry consulted then only the professionals will be developed which industry really needs. Recently LPU has been awarded with National Employability Award and Students of LPU are termed as Most Employable Students. There are two major points to be noted here, One is that Placement depends on the students equally as on the university, as student has to maintain a good academic record and should add few stars to his/her CV to land up on better placement. Secondly, University should not just focus on connecting student with the company, but should polish the student in such way that he/she is able to crack any interview easily. Being and LPU alumni, I have observed that LPU gives you ample opportunities to boost your CV and also focuses on over all development of student so that cracking any interview is a cake -walk. Many LPU students at LPU even hold multiple placement options, I am glad, I am one of those. Campus placement at Lovely Professional University has always been a sought after event for the final year students. Division of Career Services sets up recruitment drives and job fairs on a regular basis. Apart from this, it also extends abundant facilities such as resume writing sessions, career advisory services, and aptitude development workshops to proffer better placement to the students. Industry leading companies, every year, come to Lovely Professional University to participate in recruitment drives. Placements are administered by a team called Division of Career Services. Few of the major noticeable placements status are : 1. More than 700 companies visited for recruitment. 2. More than 60 offer above 10 LPA. 3. More than 60 come to LPU only, outside of IITs. 4.
