Well dear, I would be able to give you a deep insight about Chemical Engineering at LPU as I have been training the batches for placements. LPU Chemical Engineering and Physical Sciences Discipline is among the best Chemical Engineering colleges in Punjab and India. Technical Skills are imparted into the students through a carefully designed course curriculum that creates a strong foundation of basic concepts. Regular teaching involves learning by practice making students industry ready professionals much before they graduate. University also focuses on all-round personality development of students through participation in international fests and competitions. Other than the subjective knowledge the dept. Of Chemical Engineering trains their students on technical clarity by posting them on various live projects and paper presentations. Their curriculum trains them on translating processes developed in the lab into practical applications for the commercial production of products and then work to maintain and improve those processes. They rely on the main foundations of engineering: math, Physics and Chemistry (though Biology is playing an increasing role). Eminent experts from the industry/academia are invited to enrich the knowledge of students for solving industrial and societal problems. In one such visit, Dr. Manash Sarmah (Scientist, Jubilant Chemsys) interacts with the students. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology can be the best option for pursuing the Chemical Engineering course. TIET Patiala have 29 NIFR ranking in year 2020 as declared by MHRD. While LPU have 87 NIFR ranking.
