Lovely Professional University is close to my heart. Ive spend some of the very memorable days of my college life here and looking forward to so much more. Ive tried summing up my experience so far, below: They have good faculty and good infrastructure. They provide very good study ambiance and are very up to date with the latest developments. Overall culture in the university seems to be good. The diversity of students from different cultures and different countries offers a good learning B.Ed to learn and develop a more inclusive mindset. This mindset helps in being more accommodating and less judgmental in personal and professional life. Scholarship programs up to 100% for brilliant scholars-LPU provides scholarships to sports personnel, wards of Defence personnel like ARMY, NAVY, AIRFORCE etc. Apart from that LPU conducts LPU NEST where student can score good and can grab 50% scholarship. Campus- LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 900+ acres. Gym, Hi Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Placements-The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. LPU is a growing university. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Here is the unbiased review about LPU: Campus of 600+ acres - That's really not an interest to a student. What will she/he be doing of such a vast area? You'll only be having a particular block for you academics. Eight hostels for boys and Six for girls – You are going need a place to stay so hopefully there's more than enough space to accommodate you. That's a plus point. Security measures for girls - If you are a girl and decide to reside in hostel. Then, you'll have to mark you attendance daily in hostel to the floor warden and be in hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winters timing and in summers upto 07:30 probably. So, if you don't enter into hostel till that time. You are going to have to face the warden for explanation and may be a call to your parents. That's a bit harsh. While girls may not like this, but I am sure their parents would surely do. But, if you want to live freely. There are plenty of PGs near University. Now, decide what's best for you. But, you'll be super safe inside the hostels than in PGs that's for sure. You can go to library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM. But, will be accompanied with a guard from you hostel to library. More than 200 courses offered ranging from Diploma to PG - You are probably going to find the best course for you among these. That's for sure. Another plus point. Mandatory 75% aggregate attendance - You'll need to maintain a baseline of 75% aggregate attendance in order to be eligible to give exams. That's harsh and they won't accept any medical leaves or anything. Literally nothing they are going to accept from you. If you fall below 75% you are not going to be eligible for final exams until you possess good percentage in the last term. In that case they will provide you with some grace. That's a good point. Also, they have marks criteria for attendance. As your attendance increase or decrease, you'll have marks ranging from 2-5. That's for you to decide whether it is a plus point for you or not. Placement – Yes, students do get placed from the University and a lot of drives are conducted from various companies. No doubt most of the drives are CSE/IT based. Companies with decent packages come in. You'll have to compete with everyone to grab the opportunity, but it will be worth it. Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports or Academic.
