Hello! Being an LPU Alumni, I can say B.Arch programme at LPU is one of the leading programme in India. B.Arch at LPU is a good choice based on my own personal experience. The faculty is very experienced and highly educated. In the programme, innovative teaching practices are adopted. One such practice is called Experiential learning week which is organized every semester in which students are taken to nearby historic and construction sites and are given live case studies to do. In design studios, the professors encourage students to take challenging and practical design problems. There is a rich culture of internships for final year students who go for very challenging and top placements nationally as well as internationally through department. The department is actively working to arrange internships by making a cluster of architectural and consultant firms with them. A series of guest lectures and talks are organized throughout the year in school of architecture in which world-renowned architects are invited. In addition to that, the other salient features of B.Arch programme of LPU: - Recognised by COA Curriculum is as per guidelines of Council of Architecture (CoA) and COA keeps a regular check on the teaching pedagogy, faculty, projects and other learning taught by LPU. Hi LPU is the best bet for Architecture for various reasons: There are three conditions in eligibility file for B.Arch. , 60% in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and also 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and NATA 2020/JEE Main (Paper-II) or State Level Test (as/ if allowed by statutory body for 2020-21). LPU is the only university which offers 3d printing and Laser cutting techniques for the students. Internships start from 9th semester. Placement coordinator assists in placements. Hi Dear, LPU believes to make the student self dependent during the degree itself. Did you know, LPU Architect students do have their own clients and they are earning too. LPU is making them to practice even how to get the client, LPU students also learn how to get the deal. I guess no Institutions is doing this. # you just focus on your Academics, Placements are not at all a worry if you are student of LPU. They generally flaunt that they provide placements to all the eligible candidates. # So, keep concentrating on your academics only.
