How is LPU for B.Arch?

LPU is good for B.Arch programme. Good placement and good study environment.

Few points told by my brother who is pursuing B.Arch from LPU that will help you to make your decision: LPU School of Architecture and Design is among Punjab best colleges and ranked among top ten promising architecture institutes of India by Higher Education Review. In an era of smart cities, sustainable buildings and contemporary interiors, we train our students to become lateral thinkers by focusing on the critical design approach. With exposure to an international environment, access to the latest tools, software, and technology, our students become architects that create buildings and infrastructure that are globally acknowledged. Architecture Students documented the buildings and learning from Live Case Examples during experiential learning week. They paying the regular site visits and gaining their knowledge on the latest construction techniques and implement into their design projects. He attended seminars and guest lectures by experienced and professional architects are held frequently to enhance the knowledge of the students. World acclaimed architect Raj Real, Ar. PSN Rao, Ar. Sangeet Sharma and many others. They Emphasis on case studies and Case based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. Students participates in campus and out campus competitions are held frequently. Hands on experience on Low Construction Techniques, IGBC Student organisation activities etc. Educational field visits proposed to understand different architectural styles. I'm alumni of lpu and from my experience, I can say lpu is the best, it has the best infrastructure and professional faculty is there who are always there for students. This university is best for the student who really wants to learn and grow in their respected fields. LPU is amongst the Top 5 School of Architecture, Design and Planning disciplines in India and the top 100 schools globally by 2025 by becoming a Center of design excellence in Academics, Consultancy and Research. LPU School of Architecture and Design is among Punjab's best colleges and ranked among top ten promising architecture institutes of India by Higher Education Review. LPU trains its students to become lateral thinkers by focusing on the critical design approach. With exposure to an international environment, access to the latest tools, software and technology, students become architects that create buildings and infrastructure that are globally acknowledged As a part of LPU, I would say that it is the best University that one can join. LPU has helped me grow professionally and also help in providing exposure in terms of placements, internships, workshops, guest lectures, etc. I am saying this as per my experience at LPU.

Lpu Hosted 106th Indian Science Congress, 15+ conferences in the last 2 years, visit of eminent scholars gave an impetus to research endeavours of students and faculty. Supportive research policy has fostered an environment conducive to purposeful research resulting in the publication of 9132 research papers, 22703 book chapters and 395 patents.

B.Arch is one of the best programme offered by LPU because of excellent exposure, quality teaching and good placements. Also, LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2021 rankings, only three Indian universities have made to the list of Top 200 in the World. LPU has outshined various institutions like IITs, NITs, state and central universities across India and has ranked high on parameters of Affordable and Clean Energy, and Decent Work and Economic Growth.

LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can.
