How is LPU for B.Sc agriculture?

On the basis of feedback of the students and Alumni, LPU is the right place to pursue Agriculture in Graduation because of the following: 1. The University is among a very few private institutions in India which is putting continuous efforts on the academics, research, overall development, culture, professional ethics and providing suitable infrastructure for the same. 3. , Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. 4. LPU holds stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Over and above, I also came to know that recently, LPU has been ranked in top 80 amongst all private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI which shows the quality being delivered at the institute. Yes, one thing more LPU floats scholarship on the basis of caliber of the student and for that admission within stipulated date is mandatory. LPU is a well renowned university. It is recognised by UGC and also it has got the ICAR accreditation. It is the first private university to be accredited by The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). LPU provides the quality education by the well qualified teachers. LPU has become a brand across the globe. It has various national and international tie-ups. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. University provides additional professional enhancement classes as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms.

Hello, Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days. B.Sc (Hons. ) Agriculture is the leading course for this field. Agriculture is a primary source of livelihood for the majority of Indians. Thus, generally it remains the last priority among students choosing a career option. Which is a very wrong assumption.
