    Hello,The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country. If the University is ICAR approved, It means the university has all the resources like fields, labs, etc. And it will help you to get a better job. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students.

    LPU is famous for top placements of his students in leading companies due to more than 700 tie ups. As you know, LPU has ICAR accreditation for agriculture studies, so the placement of students exponentially increased. Let me clear first what is the meaning of ICAR.     LPU is very good for agriculture. Though, there are very few courses which are working well in which agriculture is one of them. Though, it depends upon person to person that what kind of expectations or career plans one have, but for a good kick start, it is suitable.

    One thing we should keep in mind before taking admission for such course, is that the University we are choosing, must provide us deep and practical knowledge of the core subjects, must adapt for new technologies faster and the University environment should be healthy and clean and LPU does it all perfectly.     LPU is well known for its B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture course. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph.Ds. This and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot.     There are lot of Colleges and universities which are doing great in agriculture studies but as per my expert, LPU is one of the best choice for the agriculture programme. Lovely Professional University is first private university accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. No other private university has this accreditation. LPU is one of the great place for education where the management actually believe on actions rather than words. Whatever they promised they delivered to us along with in campus placement at good package and best time of life.

    Dear, in one word B.Sc agriculture of LPU is good. Course, infrastructure, faculty and hostel really reached the satisfaction level. Placement is reported to be satisfactory excepting in 2018. However for better knowledge you may visit their official site and if available alumni site too. Best Wishes.
